My date had a fortune cookie and I had a plastic package with fortune cookie crumbs. The dynamic waiter came with the check and two fortune cookies. We didn't want to raise a scene so we asked for the check. It literally tasted like I vomited in my mouth. I tried several pieces hoping that it was just inconsistent. I would have asked for something to repair it but it was hopeless. It tasted like it was dipped in stale breadcrumbs and fried in rancid oil. My sesame beef was stringy and that wasn't the worst of it. She said it tasted terrible and didn't want to discuss it further. My date couldn't eat more than a few bites of the eggplant. My date ordered spicy eggplant with a side of spring rolls. He took our order and brought some won tons for appetizers which turned out to be the highlight of the meal. We were seated promptly and a very eager waiter who repeated everything to us in pretty good English and broken Spanish waited on us. We went on a Saturday late afternoon before it was busy. I know it's hard to run a restaurant so I am reluctantly writing this review since I don't have the authority or ability to put up a warning sign. I usually go out of my way to write good reviews and help non-chain restaurants.
